心血来潮，我突然之间想用我的母语语言来打这一张博客文章。我的中文程度真的是。。。挺烂的。我用了将近 5 分钟来打两行句子，简直烂透了。

最近都在忙大学和 internship final report 的事情。大学啊大学，怎么你那么难搞定啊！自己觉得进不了新加坡的大学，只好包读 private 大学。可是呢，该读哪个 private 大学呢？这问题实在难道（和烦死）我了。

只能用一个字来形容我现在繁杂的心情：sian

真想快点把 internship final report 三千五百个字搞好，让我能专心报名大学！我也真是的，都不清楚我到底要做什么。活了将近 20 年了，还是第一次觉得那么的不知所措。

华语实在烂，type 不下去了。我这个华人真的是白当了。晚安了！

Just being random in the middle of the night.

Just thought that you might be interested to know some random things about myself. (Some random ideas pop up in my mind out of the blue, I’ve no idea why too.)

1. I always wanted to try ordering 1 apple pie through mac delivery but never gotten the chance to do so cause it’s practically being a dumbass and throwing my money away.

2. I don’t think guys with ear studs are attractive. It just make them look like some pretty boys. (nothing against them though!) My conservative little mind is still hanging around in the 90s century.

3. I’m a visual person. Which means, I can’t understand nuts unless you draw me a picture or diagramme or graphic. Visual distractions, they’re always around. The best thing I love about running? To see and observe things around me. The people, the scenery, the pets, the route, the bus, the traffic, the buildings, etc.

4. One thing that I’ve been always interested in since young – Military. I find soldiers, police, armed forces extremely enthralling and their job scoops are pretty much fascinating. (yea army dudes, please stop bombarding me about NS being an absolutely boring and hellish place to be in) I’m the kind of person who questions why ladies shouldn’t be going NS and doing their part in serving the nation. To me, it feels more like a learning process when boys become men and at the same time, equip themselves with better survival learning skills be it in the jungle, or people to people relationship.

5. I don’t believe in love on first sight. Yes, this particular person might have caught your attention the first time you saw him/her and there’s this tiny explosion going on in your heart. But is it ‘love’ that’s happening? I doubt so. I’m sorry to say this but I’m a cynic when it comes to relationship and all the lovey dovey stuff.

I’ll stop at number 5 at the moment. I’ll add on to this list of items once I randomly come up with random stuffs again.

Resolutions

1. Be a better driver and get to know directions around Singapore
2. Save up to get a prime lens
3. Save up to get a road/mountain bike
4. Complete a full marathon
5. Attempt vertical marathon
6. 10km races below an hour and 21km races between 2hr-2.5hrs
7. Try out windsurfing and use up the groupon windsurfing deal
8. Go on an impromptu trip overseas with pals
9. Go on Mission Trips to Cambodia
10. Start serving in Church
11. Keep up on my weekly exercise routine schedule
12. Start volunteering at an old folks home
13. Get my relationship with God back on proper track and be closer to Him
14. Do my best and improve for my MDC work (extending after int!)
15. Set up a good portfolio
16. Change a hairstyle
17. Be less stubborn in terms of my character
18. Mum to go to church on a regular basis
19. Most importantly, trust God in everything that I do/every decisions that I’ll be making in the year 2012.

2012 is going to be a year of change for myself. No more being a teenager, hitting a 2_ in my life, entering a new stage of education level, changing a study/work environment.. And many more! I’m so glad for all the blessings that God poured forth throughout the year 2011.

To this special group of people, thanks for being there for me in the year 2011, cheers to the many years of friendship/kinship ahead!

Hello to all these people in this collage. You guys have a very very very special place in my heart Thank God for placing people like them around me.

2011 has been a pretty great year, but this new year will be even greater! Bring it on 2012!

New Years Eve

Words can’t describe how very adorable they’re together! Can’t stop clicking the replaying button once it’s over. Youtube , it’s time you invent an auto replay function or something along that line!

So, what are you doing today on a New Year’s Eve?

I hope you guys out there are getting ready to party into the year 2012! As for myself? I need to get a life.

Being sick on a New Year’s Eve is a disaster. It’s simply unpardonable. Can’t believe I’m going to usher in the new year with a feverish body, an extreme sore throat and a horrid state of sewage blockage happening right in my nose. I’m so annoyed at myself right now. I’m in this state of body condition thanks to all the Christmas season goodies that I’ve taken over the past week. The amount of sugar/chocolate/cookies/cakes/sugary treats intake residing in my body right now must be.. an alarming amount to cause such a ‘revolutional’ change in my seemingly healthy body hahaha.

But then again, I enjoyed every single of those seemingly evil but yummayy, finger-licking, lip-smacking season goodies!

Went for an Ice cream buffet yesterday! Thanks to Buffet buffet 2, my yet-to-go food place checklist increased by ALOT. But well, one off the list!

Doesn’t this awesome, yet sinful, banana crêpe looks aaaah-mazzz-zing? Slurp, how I wish something like this will magically appear infront of me right now at this very moment.

What a delightful looking lemon sorbet snowman!

Definitely going back Little Ice Cream Kafe again! Their local flavours like horlick, white chocolate, teh terek was pretty interesting, not to mention delicious! Sigh, but here I am, with a tons of illnesses thanks to all the chocolate syrup, waffles, ice cream intake yesterday. No regrets doreen, no regrets.

Back to the New Year’s Eve topic. I can’t believe I’m giving the last church service of the year 2011 a miss. Genius, decided to take a short little nap hoping that I’ll recover by a tinsy weeny bit. Open my eyes after ’10 minutes’ later and.. voila! 3 hours went past, and I’m still feeling as horrible as ever. Giving church a miss today, shall be a good little girl drinking liang teh with a million packets of tissue paper at home.

New Organiser all the way from Japan for the New Year! (The words on the front page of my organiser stays the same every year, on every organiser, it’s a Doreen-tradition!) Thanks Sims! But I guess I’m still gonna get the pretty organiser from Gmarket. The confession of a Gmarket shopping addict.

New wall calendar too! Thanks to my lil’ bro!

Well, I guess I’m ready to face the coming 2012. Are you? I hope you’re! Have a good time partying into the year 2012 tonight folks! While I’ll be at home.. Facing the tv and counting down with tissue papers and liang teh.

Wow, what a fulfilling year indeed Accomplished more than 50% of my 2010 new year resolution! What an accomplishment. Great job reen, pat on my own back! One more week to the end of 2011 & it’s time to start preparing and celebrating for the coming of 2012! Just a lil’ short post, will post about my 2012 new year resolution in the next post! Shall do some online shopping now! Heh.

You’re not an awesome squash opponent to play with since I’m the one who ends up defeating and thrashing you HAHAHAHA.

You’re not an awesome fat friend to be with cause you’re always jealous of me and spreading lies like I’ve a fat tummy and im a lard (YOU ARE THE ONE WITH IT check out the pic above haha)

You’re not the best documentary film maker i’ve seen around.. in fact you suck at it hahaha. Making a food documentary ft. me and portraying me as some scary monster huh? Tsktsk.

You’re not the best servant around cause you were busy complaining and nagging while applying the mask on the half awake sunburn me during the bintan trip HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You’re not the best partner to be teased with cause you’re beneath my level of awesomeness hahahaha not my cup of tea pffffttttt.

But then again,

You’re one of the best buddy one could ever have, the only 19yearold person I can turn to and click with in LG! As much as we suan each other ever since I know you 3-4 years back in church, you’re one of the buddies whom I can turn to when I need a listening ear or just a complaining outlet. You don’t judge, you listen, you give suggestions, you provide help whenever needed, you are an awesome suanning opponent… What else can I ask for but a buddy like you!

Thanks for all the company along the years (kite flying, guitar teaching, arcade buddy HAHAHA, digging gossips from you, waffle factorying, xmas exchange, forcing you to say out your girls secrets hehe, sending you buaybah spamming smses like there’s no tomorrow, attempts to throw you down the pool unsuccessful till date… and many more lol I’m too lazy to think of more) Since I’ve no more image infront of you, I don’t bother keeping up with one when I’m with you hahaha. That’s when I can switch personality to my chor lor self and still be comfortable with it HAHA. Thanks for everything man haha I really appreciate it, even though I don’t say/show it la haha. My suannings are signs of appreciation at times y’know!

It’s once again the best month of the year! Hurray! God knows how long I’ve been waiting for the arrival of this beautiful month. Can’t wait for my 1 week Christmas break! Finally a week off internship! But then again, it’s back to the topic of fretting over Christmas presents for loved ones a round!

My expensive Christmas (back up: CNY) wishlist (that isn’t coming true so I’m putting CNY as a backup since I’ll be richer during CNY period hehe)

1. 50mm lens (S$90-120)
2. Mountain bike ($150)
3. Nike+ Tom tom watch (USD$199, not in SG yet)
4. New pair of running shoe ($150)
5. Dual power charger and adapters ($30)
6. A Nike running cap ($15)
7. The necklace…which I lost it.. with my name carved ($90-120)
8. More junk/healthy food in my lunchbox! ($infinity)

This xmas wishlist can last me till 2015 judging from the expenses of all the items listed lol. Oh well, on a bright side, I don’t have to kill more braincells to come out with another wishlist next Christmas! I can reuse and recycle this 2011 xmas wishlist! Such a brainy girl

“No one ever gets tired of loving. But everyone gets tired of waiting, assuming, hearing lies, saying sorry and hurting.” Not much of the lying and hurting (directly) part though. But yes, I do get tired of waiting, assuming and saying sorry. It’s hard to love and accept like Jesus does, doesn’t He ever gets tired of people rejecting Him and even going to the extend of crucifying Him, inflicting physical and mental torture on Him. I’m sorry, but I do. Jesus’s so amazing, how much of rejection and hurt can a person withhold? I’m called to be the light of the world, child of God, an ambassador of Christ. How am I supposed to reach the standard of that? Sometimes, I feel so inadequate and unworthy. But God’s still good, unfaithful the way He always was/is/yet to come. Thank God for the constant joy that He has been pouring into my life. God and His unwavering love makes me smile, from the bottom of my heart. In times like these, I am so thankful that I still have Him to hold on to in my life. People might fail you, friends might, family might, but God never fails.

I wish I’ve ample time to sit down through an entire post to express my current thoughts and emotions about certain ongoing issues about this simple 4 letters word – life. I just need an outlet to put all my thoughts into words but I’m afraid of letting my emotions take hold of me, I’m afraid of saying spiteful words in a fit of pique and confusion state of mind.

Emotions taking me over.. Sigh, let’s just blame it on the time of the month.
